Maul Road is a church for the entire family. From cradle role to great-grandparents, our desire is to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Listeners throughout south Arkansas tune into Y-95 each Sunday at 7:00 a.m. to hear Power for Today. Young and old alike fill the hallways at Maul Road at 9:45 a.m. to attend Sunday school. Classes are Biblical, practical, and relevant for our world today.
Sunday morning worship is a special time at Maul Road. It is a time we are reminded to leave our problems at the foot of the cross. We are reminded of the great sacrifice offered by Jesus Christ on the cross. We are challenged to live according to God’s Word, allowing it to be a lamp to our feet and a light for our path. On Sunday evening, we return for worship. A special children’s worship program – Adventure Club – is offered for youngsters age 2-years-old through 3rd grade.
Wednesdays offer another opportunity for Bible study. Our ladies’ class meets at 10:00 a.m. They enjoy a special treat on the first Wednesday of each month – a luncheon prepared by several of our ladies.
We make a special effort to offer relevant class topics on Wednesday evening. Those topics include seminars on marriage, financial management, and anger management.
Care Groups emphasize the importance of family at Maul Road. Currently, we have five different groups that meet one Sunday evening each month. Many of them also have fellowships planned during the month. When someone in our church family is sick, Care Groups are considered “first responders.” They visit their group members at the hospital, prepare meals to carry to their homes, and provide comfort in times of loss.
As our church family continues to grow, our needs and opportunities to serve will increase. We are committed to meeting those needs with additional Bible study, awareness, and new ministries. It is a great and exciting time to be part of the Maul Road family!
